Can Chiropractors Replace Their Job Joining an MLM?

0

Looking back over the past year and a half since I joined my first MLM company, it’s been a tremendous learning experience. Rather than give a blatant promotion to join MLM, I want to take this opportunity to discuss both the positives and negatives of joining the network marketing industry if you are a chiropractor.

MLM is a great industry to join, and it is a great industry to be a part of if you treat it right. Many successful chiropractors are in the MLM industry and have doubled or tripled their practice incomes. There are numerous reasons why MLM is a perfect fit for chiropractors who want to replace their jobs. Just like with chiropractics, there are many misconceptions in the MLM industry that are important to understand if you decide to join an MLM opportunity.

When I joined my first MLM opportunity a year and a half ago, I knew what I had to do to be successful. I followed the same path that I did when I first opened my chiropractic office. I contacted and shadowed many successful chiropractors and mentored with a few as well, learning the ins and outs of building a successful chiropractic practice. This is also what I did when I joined MLM. I networked with and mentored with many successful network marketers in the industry and aligned myself with them in my network marketing opportunity. The one thing I have learned, is that you need to treat this as a real business. If you treat it like a business, you will get paid like a business. If you treat it like a hobby, you will get paid like a hobby. You need to ask yourself this question, “Are you willing to do whatever it takes to learn the skills you need to be successful in the MLM industry?”

Many have heard the statistics that 90% of distributors fail in this industry, yet for the 10% who stick with one company for 10 years or more and actively participate in their business (meaning that they at least work it part time), that 90% of them will reach the top of their companies pay plan.

What does the top of the pay plan look like? For most companies it is a lot more money per month than the average chiropractor makes on an annual basis.

Another reason so many chiropractors are successful in network marketing is that many us are leaders in our communities. We spend each and every day educating members of our communities about the amazing health benefits of a chiropractic lifestyle. These leadership qualities are one of the reasons so many chiropractors are successful in MLM.

So the question you need not ask yourself is “should I join MLM?” but instead the question of the day is “are you willing to treat your business like a business?” Dream Big! This is an industry with huge potential that is just waiting for leaders like you to step up and take charge of their future and replace your chiropractic job if you so desire.
