Free Online Data Entry Jobs Vs Fast Buck Merchants

If I’ve said it once I’ve said it 1000 times. No matter what you’ve been told there are no shortcuts to making real money on the Internet. Even getting to the point where you’re able to replace your day job income is an uphill struggle.

The online data entry arena is no different. We are told that thousands of people are migrating to the Internet, finding work which they can do from home and successfully replacing their traditional incomes. We are told that by simply spending two or three hours a day doing free online data form filling jobs we can make as much as 500 dollars a day.

Hogwash!

Can you imagine any real company paying out that kind of money to a data entry outsourcer? The CEO would have to be as mad as a fish to agree to that kind of crazy money wasting.

Now don’t get me wrong there are plenty of data entry jobs to be found on the Internet and they make the grade. They are real, honest jobs being offered by real people. But make no bones about it, the pay is usually pretty low.

Let’s face it, data entry jobs sit on the lower rungs of the ladder and because they are so easy to do you will find a lot of competition for many of the free online data entry jobs. Competition from people who live in countries such as India, Southeast Asia and the like. People who are prepared to work for a lot less than us here in the so-called developed world. This puts many people off.

In the wink of an eye you’re swimming back upstream, back to the search engines to find another opportunity. This time you find something which looks amazing. Something that really takes the cake. They say you can earn hundreds of dollars a day doing form filling work and in a moment of weakness you decide to hand over the money and go for it.

You gain access to the system and slowly it dawns on you that you either have to spend more money promoting other people’s products using their system which is loosely described as a type of data entry or you have to train your self up as a home typist before you can apply for the real data entry jobs out there.

Whichever way you cut it what it boils down to is the fact that you will be a self-employed operator who has to fight for the work in amongst the thousands of other potential candidates. All traditional rules apply and the only way you will develop a successful data entry career is by building up your portfolio, your positive feedback and gaining referrals from happy clients.
